Tashkent
Departure from the airport for Tashkent, overnight en route.
Tashkent
Arrival at Tashkent airport. Welcome by your guide and transfer to the hotel. Check-in at the hotel and time to relax. Panoramic tour of Tashkent, including the modern part of the city, the Chorsu bazaar and the old town. Dinner and overnight at the hotel.
Tashkent - Urgench - Khiva
Early breakfast, then transfer to the airport for the Tashkent-Urgench flight. Arrive around 7.30 am and drive to Khiva (30 km). Check-in at the hotel and visit to the old town, a UNESCO World Heritage site, and its monuments. Dinner and overnight at the hotel.
Khiva - Bukhara
Journey from Khiva to Bukhara (approx. 450 km). En route, you can admire the Kyzylkum desert. Arrive late afternoon, check-in and overnight in hotel.
Bukhara
Full day exploring the old town of Bukhara. Meet local craftsmen and visit various sites. Dinner in a local restaurant. Overnight in hotel.
Bukhara
Continuation of visits in and around Bukhara. Folklore show in an old madrasa. Dinner and overnight at the hotel.
Bukhara - Samarkand
Departure for Samarkand in an air-conditioned vehicle (280 km). En route, stop to visit the pottery workshops of Gijduvan or other local craftsmen. Lunch in a local restaurant. Arrive in Samarkand and check into hotel.
Samarkand
Day devoted to discovering Samarkand, cradle of Tamerlane's empire. Visit to Gur-e-Amir, Registan, etc. Night in hotel.
Samarkand
Continuation of the exploration of Samarkand, the capital of the Timurid Empire. Overnight in hotel.
Departure for Shakhrisabz, the birthplace of Tamerlane. Return to Samarkand in the late afternoon. Possibility of taking the TGV. Late arrival in Tashkent (details not given).
